Winemaker Dr Martin Tesch
Dr Martin Tesch is one of the most distinguished German winemakers. The vineyard on the Nahe river is over 300 years old and mainly produces Riesling. In addition to the multiple-award-winning, classically vinified single-vineyard wines, TESCH's concept wines are also internationally renowned.
The highest quality craftsmanship and an innovative brand identity are the basis for the winery's success.
Numerous awards, such as the prestigious Red Dot Design Award or the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung’s Winemaker of the Year, emphasize the winery’s reputation.
Every year, the wines receive outstanding ratings in well-known international wine guides such as those of Robert Parker or James Suckling.
Dr Martin Tesch supplies his wines to numerous top chefs, upmarket restaurants and selected wine merchants in more than twenty countries worldwide.
In addition to the multiple-award-winning, classically vinified single-vineyard wines, TESCH's concept wines are also internationally renowned. For over ten years, he has also been producing a wine especially for the band from Düsseldorf known as DIE TOTEN HOSEN.
“DIE TOTEN HOSEN are the soundtrack of my life. Throughout the years, from my school days until today, somehow this story has never ended, because it has just kept evolving. I feel tremendously lucky!” Martin Tesch explains.
