Caves de la Béroche

With its 20 hectares of vines, all of which are organically cultivated and monitored, Caves de la Béroche is one of Switzerland's eco-friendly winegrowing pioneers.
Caves de la Béroche gained organic certification in 1992.
The ladybird on its label says it all. Ladybirds mainly tend to be found in vineyards where no chemical products are used. The Lambert family concluded very early on that expressive wines can only be produced in an intact ecosystem where beneficial organisms keep pests in check. For this reason, the winery has been organically certified since 1992.
The Lambert family estate, with vineyards close to the lake in the municipalities of Gorgier and Vaumarcus, has been managed by Pierre and Kathrin Lambert since 2006.
Its principal wines are refreshing Chasselas, sophisticated Œil-de-Perdrix and powerful Pinot noir. Other varieties cultivated on the estate are Chardonnay, Pinot gris, Riesling x Silvaner, Savagnin Rose, Doral, Viognier, Perdrix blanche and Garanoir.
