Château Saint-Pierre is one of the lesser-known châteaux in Bordeaux. The estate was classified 4ième Grand Cru Classé in 1855.
It is located in the prestigious St-Julien appellation. Its wines are powerful and elegant. The estate has 17 hectares of vines, planted 75% with Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% with Merlot and 10% with Cabernet franc. The vines are an average of 40 years old. With production of around 60,000 bottles, the château is one of the smaller estates in the Bordeaux region. Château Saint-Pierre is owned by Henri Martin and managed by his son-in-law Jean-Louis Triaud.
